Research has proven a direct link between charitable work and longevity (for real, check it out!), so Goddesses With Guns and friends are all a little happier and healthier this week, thanks to the clay shoot fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley on September 27.

The weather was perfect and the Beretta Shooting Grounds at Dover Furnace presented a friendly course that still held our interest. Apres shoot, we enjoyed a delicious meal, shared our day’s adventures and bid on silent auction prizes.

Many thanks to all our friends who joined us, including special mention to Ryan McElroy Foundation, Critter Cleanup NYTwo Sons Environmental and Hunters Helping the Hungry who went the extra mile to support this worthy cause.

In addition to this annual event, there are many opportunities to support our local House – click here to see how you can help.
